Questions to ask at the Study Abroad Fair
Not sure what to ask? Here are a few suggestions:
- Why did you decide to apply to this program?
- What was your experience with the application process?
- How does this program compare to a typical quarter (or year) on campus (academic rigor, peer group, outside activities, etc.)?
- How did you balance being abroad with internship recruiting, MCAT, RSO, athletics, etc.?
- Did you feel prepared to go abroad beforehand? Why or why not?
- How did you budget for going abroad?
- What types of things did you do to prepare? (See a doctor, get a visa, etc.)
- What travel tips do you have?
- What was one thing you had to give up while you were abroad? How did it work out in the end?
- What is the housing like in ___________?

- What was the most rewarding / challenging thing about studying abroad in ____________?
