In high school, Chris traveled to Greece and Turkey which kickstarted his love for international travel, and he spent a year living in Dakar, Senegal during his time as an undergraduate. He is married with a daughter and has three pets: cats Sola (meaning “the sun” in Norwegian) and Sesame, and dog Cleo. In his free time, he and his wife Francesca enjoy eating their way around new places and cuisines, attending live theatre, basking in the glory of his hometown Green Bay Packers, and watching their daughter experience the world little by little.
