Dana Currier is Deputy Director of Study Abroad. She has been at the University since 2004, when she began graduate study in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures. She earned a Master’s Degree in French Literature and has taught French language courses, assisted with Dual Career Services in the Provost’s Office, and worked in Foreign Rights at the University of Chicago Press before joining the Office of Study Abroad in 2012. Dana helps students navigate financial aid and funding opportunities and coordinates programs in Athens and London. She studied abroad as both an undergraduate and graduate student in Paris and Avignon, France. In her free time, she loves to cook, run, and ride bikes with her two young sons along the Chicago Lakefront.
