Kylie Poulin Zahora is Associate Director of Study Abroad. She is broadly responsible for overseeing the operations of the Study Abroad Office, including budgeting, data analysis and reporting, campus partnerships, and communications. Kylie coordinates the Summer International Travel Grant (SITG) program and direct enrollment programs in France. Her work with students also extends to directing the office’s Study Abroad Student Advisory Committee and liaising with the College’s Veteran Scholars and ROTC populations.

Kylie joined the Office of Study Abroad in 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Russian and East European Studies from Indiana University and a Master’s in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University. Hailing from a French-Canadian family, Kylie first studied abroad as an international high school student in Paris, France and later as an undergraduate at the University of Oxford. Prior to joining UChicago, Kylie spent several years working for an education tech start-up and she spends her time outside of work sampling Chicago’s food scene, traveling, supporting Chicagoland animal rescue, and sharing her love of reading with others.
